When was ECC established

In July 1991 the International Carrom Federation decided in its 2nd Congress at Male (Maldives) to establish Continental Confederations. Arif Naqvi was authorises to contact the Carrom Federations in Europe and establish European Carrom Confederation. First consultaive meeting of some Carrom Federations of Europe took place in September 1991 in Berlin (Germany). Number of consultative meetings were held in U.K., Switzerland and Germany.

The first congress of the European Carrom Confederation was held on 18th august in Unterehrendingen near Zuerich in Switzerland. A constitution of the European Carrom Confederation was adopted and following office bearers were elected.
